The use of golden pin rivets that can be seen in many of her works is by no means an accident. Atty intentionally makes pin rivets an essential component of many of her designs. She was first drawn to the pin rivets by their unpretentious beauty but soon realized their potential as mechanical elements. They also allow subtle movement and make the jewelry come to life.
Atty sees the understated strength of the pin rivets as comparable to wemen's strength-subtle yet explosive!
